Padel giant Padel Nuestro has officially entered the United Kingdom retail market, marking a significant milestone for the sport's growth in the region. By opening its first physical store in Manchester, the company has become the first specialist padel retailer in Europe to establish a brick-and-mortar presence in the UK.
Strategic Expansion and the Player Passport Initiative
The new Manchester location, situated at Unit 4, Broughton Court, Broughton Street, Cheetham Hill (M8 8NN), is strategically positioned near several of the city’s top padel facilities. This expansion is a direct response to the massive surge in UK participation, which the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) reports has grown from 15,000 players in 2019 to over 860,000 by the end of 2025. Manchester serves as an ideal hub for this launch, currently hosting 38 clubs and 145 courts.
Beyond the physical store opening, Padel Nuestro has introduced a global engagement program to connect its international community. The Player Passport initiative allows customers to interact with the brand's network of nearly 70 stores across Europe, Africa, and the Americas. The program includes the following key features:
