Padel Alba, a prominent UK-based court supplier, is revolutionizing its operations by investing €750,000 into a new Alicante-based manufacturing facility that integrates a premium, public-facing padel club directly into the factory floor. This unique setup allows the company to showcase its manufacturing standards in real-time while significantly scaling its production capacity to meet global demand.
Factory Upgrades and Club Features
The expansion is designed to triple the company's output from 10 to 30 courts per week. To achieve this, the new facility incorporates several key technical and structural improvements, alongside a high-end club that serves as a live showroom for potential clients:
- Automated Production Line: The factory will feature two new welding robots to streamline the manufacturing process and increase efficiency.
- Enhanced Lifting Infrastructure: Four built-in cranes are being installed to assist with the heavy lifting required for court assembly and logistics.
- Full-Panoramic Courts: The on-site club includes two full-panoramic courts equipped with halo-style perimeter lighting for a modern, high-visibility playing experience.
- Panoramic Courts with Post Lighting: Two additional panoramic courts will be installed, utilizing traditional post lighting setups to allow clients to compare different lighting styles.
- Acoustic Control: Every wall in the club is fitted with acoustic curtains to minimize noise, ensuring a premium environment for players and visitors.
Co-founders Ray Brinkmanis and Gentjan Querasaj, who established the business five years ago, emphasize that this transparency is a strategic move to prove the quality of their work. By allowing customers to witness the manufacturing process—including the welding and assembly—before stepping onto the finished courts, the company aims to differentiate itself from competitors.
While the club will be open for public hire, the company intends to maintain an exclusive, high-end atmosphere. Looking ahead, Padel Alba plans to integrate advanced padel technology into the facility to further enhance the user experience. The company, which has already supplied major UK venues such as Carbon Padel in Manchester and The Padel Hub, will officially unveil the new facility on Friday, November 13, with an inaugural event featuring VIPs and an exhibition match.
