The FIP Promises Tour continues its global momentum this weekend, shifting focus to Europe with two major youth tournaments in Spain and Belgium. Following a record-breaking event in Bali, the circuit remains dedicated to showcasing the world's most promising NextGen padel talent.
Upcoming FIP Promises Tournaments in Spain and Belgium
The competition is set to unfold across two distinct venues, highlighting the depth of young talent currently rising through the ranks of international padel.
- FIP Promises Diputación De Málaga (Alhaurín de la Torre, Spain): Held at the ‘Pistas Municipales Francis Ceballos’, this event features eight separate draws covering Under 12, 14, 16, and 18 categories for both boys and girls. In the Under 18 girls' category, top seeds include Sofia Martinez Gilabert and Ruth Petit Segarra. The boys' Under 18 draw is headlined by Samu Rivas and Alejandro Calahorro Garcia; notably, Rivas enters the tournament with professional experience, having secured his first career title at the FIP Bronze event in Helsingborg earlier this year. Additionally, the Under 16 girls' competition is expected to be a tight battle between top-seeded pair Fabiola Polvillo and Gema Calvo Perez, and the challengers Valeria Prado Gomez and Ainara Andoin Amengual.
- FIP Promises R3 Bullpadel Cup Mol (Mol, Belgium): This tournament features four boys' categories (Under 12, 14, 16, and 18) and three girls' categories (Under 14, 16, and 18). The boys' Under 18 draw is led by the top-seeded duo of local favorite Rune Keppens and his partner Oliver Granthman, with Keppens aiming for a victory on home soil. The boys' Under 18 field also features the pair of Dutchman Jans Daan and Sweden's Junior Brydolf. Meanwhile, the girls' Under 18 draw includes three notable pairs: Loiss Reints and Jolien Temmermans, Zoey Komander and Goebel Finja, and Hedvig Oberg and Savannah Johansson.
These events represent a vital stage for young athletes to gain competitive experience on the FIP Promises circuit, providing a clear pathway for the next generation of professional padel stars to test their skills against international peers.
