Sewell Park, located on the campus of Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas, is a scenic six-acre park that features grassy banks, a basketball court, volleyball courts, and picnic and barbecue areas along the San Marcos River. The park offers stairs for easy access to the river for swimming or snorkeling and is near the Outdoors Center, where visitors can rent kayaks, paddleboards, and other water equipment. With its beautiful setting and variety of amenities, Sewell Park is a favorite hangout spot for students, staff, and alumni.
