Tournament Structure and Key Contenders
The competition is divided into three distinct categories, each with its own path to the podium. The men’s draw consists of 24 pairs, where the top eight seeds receive a bye into the round of 16. The women’s draw features 19 pairs, requiring three opening-round matches to finalize the round-of-16 bracket. Additionally, a mixed doubles event will take place as part of the broader national team competitions.
In the men’s draw, the following pairs are positioned as the primary contenders:

- Abbate-Montiel (3): Representing Italy, this duo is a strong medal contender looking to capitalize on their high seeding.
