The FIP Promises Tour has arrived in Spain for the FIP Promises Salamanca tournament, showcasing the next generation of padel talent across eight different age-based categories. Young athletes are competing for titles in the Under 12, Under 14, Under 16, and Under 18 divisions for both boys and girls.
Key Contenders and Tournament Highlights
The tournament features a deep field of rising stars, with particular attention on the Under 18 boys' category where local favorite Samu Rivas is competing. Rivas, a Salamanca native, is entering the event as the No. 1 seed alongside his partner, Diego Rivas. Samu Rivas brings significant momentum to his home court, having already secured a title at the Swedish FIP Bronze in Helsingborg earlier this year and reaching several finals across Europe.
The competition is organized into eight distinct draws, with the following pairs highlighted as notable participants and contenders across the age groups:
- Boys' Under 18: The top-seeded duo of Samu Rivas and Diego Rivas leads the field, with strong competition expected from Leon David Ruiz Shannon and Daniel Beneyto Sanchez, as well as Javier Merino Nieto and Francisco Goncalves Da Silva.
