Premier Padel and the International Padel Federation (FIP) have announced a strategic move to secure the sport's future by appointing Sportradar as their official betting integrity partner. This initiative, which coincides with the selection of iGame Media as the exclusive betting technology and distribution partner, aims to establish a regulated, transparent ecosystem for professional padel starting in the 2027 season.
Key Components of the New Integrity Framework
The partnership with Sportradar and iGame Media is designed to protect the integrity of the Qatar Airways Premier Padel Tour while fostering responsible commercial growth. The following measures outline how these organizations plan to safeguard the sport:
- Universal Fraud Detection System (UFDS): Sportradar will deploy its AI-driven monitoring technology to analyze global betting activity. This system uses expert analysis to identify suspicious betting patterns that could signal potential match-fixing, providing immediate alerts to FIP and Premier Padel.
- Integrity Education and Training: Beyond monitoring, Sportradar will provide comprehensive educational programs for the padel community. These initiatives focus on risk mitigation and prevention, ensuring that integrity standards are deeply embedded within the professional circuit.
- Official Data Ecosystem: Beginning in 2027, regulated sportsbooks will gain access to official betting products derived from in-venue umpire data and low-latency live streaming.
