Tournament Breakdown: Where the NextGen Will Compete
This weekend's action is spread across five international locations, each showcasing unique draws and rising stars in the sport:
- FIP Promises São João da Madeira (Portugal): Held at the Opa São João da Madeira, this event features eight draws across all age groups (U12, U14, U16, and U18 for boys and girls). Local favorites Francisco Fleming and Lourenco Rodrigues are aiming for the U18 title. Additionally, Francisca Cravo, the current No. 2 in the FIP Promises Under 14 Europe ranking and a six-time winner on the 2026 tour, will be competing in both the U14 and U16 categories.
- FIP Promises Floridia (Italy): This tournament includes five draws: boys’ U14, U16, and U18, and girls’ U16 and U18. In the boys’ U18 category, Gabriele Laurino and Alessandro Zaccagnino enter as top contenders, facing competition from Matteo Quatrana with Raffaele Tatullo, and Alessandro Pirrotta with Luca Maria Laguzza. Giuliana Di Martino and Eleonora Regini are the pair to watch in the girls’ U18 and U16 divisions.
- FIP Promises Grötzingen (Germany): Hosted at Padelroom Bruchsal, this event focuses on the boys’ U14, U16, and U18 categories. The U18 draw features notable pairings including Victor Gad and Bertram Sondrup, Cochise Inde Bennett and Stan Hunt, and Kay Budrys and Florian Schmidt.
- FIP Promises Stockholm (Sweden): This event hosts six draws covering U14, U16, and U18 for both boys and girls. The boys’ U18 title race is headlined by top seeds Junior Brydolf and Carlos Garau Barbosa, who will face off against the Dutch duo Daan Jans and Pieter Hermus Jr. In the U16 categories, Malthe Lindh and Filip Dahlqvist lead the boys' side, while Lola Teikari with Selma Sofia Killman and sisters Anshika and Rishita Rajagopal are the top contenders in the girls' draw.
- FIP Promises San Luis (Mexico): This event features boys’ U14, U16, and U18 draws. The U18 category is particularly notable for featuring Mateo Gonzalez and Angel Patricio Manautou, the only all-Mexican pairing in the bracket. This tournament coincides with a FIP Silver event taking place at the same venue.
