The Dink MiLP Florida State Championship: Dink Floyd, Kitchen Nightmares, and Hold My Pickle Punch Their Tickets

The Dink Minor League Pickleball Florida State Championship has concluded, with three South Florida teams securing Dream Tickets to the MiLP Championships in 2027. The tournament, which ran alongside the All Florida Pro League, saw an impressive 105 players compete across three DUPR divisions, with the winners of each division earning a coveted spot in the championships.

The winners of the Dream Tickets were Dink Floyd in the DUPR 18 division, Kitchen Nightmares in the DUPR 16 division, and Hold My Pickle in the DUPR 14 division. Notably, Dink Floyd was a blind date team, assembled by MiLP from free agents who had never played together before, and they won their division in a thrilling Dreambreaker that went to overtime. The final point was a contested out call against a team with three players under the age of 13, making their victory all the more impressive.

3. DUPR 14 Division: Gold - Hold My Pickle, Silver - Four the Win, Bronze - South Point Pickleball Academy

It's worth noting that the Killer Bees, who competed in the DUPR 16 division, went to a Dreambreaker in every single match they played, although they didn't make the podium.
